Quality management

A certification audit took place at our company in 2022. The audit was carried out by SKZ Cert GmbH (Würzburg).

We achieved recertification of the current standard in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 without deviating from the existing standard.

Our environmental management was also successfully certified in accordance with the new DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 standard without any deviations.

Code of Conduct for the plastics processing industry

The GKV represents around 1,200 companies (as of 2010) through its member associations AVK, IK, pro-K and TecPart. The member companies expressly acknowledge their social responsibility as part of their business activities (Corporate Social Responsibility).

This GKV Code of Conduct is a voluntary agreement with which the member companies aim to ensure compliance with global requirements for ethical and moral conduct in particular, as well as the requirements of proper conduct under competition and antitrust law (compliance). This also means promoting fair and sustainable standards in dealings with suppliers and customers as well as the company’s own employees.

The recognizing companies inform their employees at regular intervals about the ethical objectives and principles of conduct of this Code of Conduct. In addition, they strive to ensure that suppliers are also guided by these contents. The GKV Code of Conduct is designed as a voluntary commitment. Participating companies are certified by the GKV or its supporting associations.

We have an MFI tester to ensure the quality of the raw materials during the incoming goods inspection.

The melt flow index tester is the basis for characterizing thermoplastics during incoming inspection. The results of the measurements are a fingerprint for the behavior of the material during processing.

The value determined is also a measure of the molecular weight and therefore an indication of the mechanical properties of the material. The average molecular weight and the result of the measurement are indirectly proportional.

The MFI tester has further possibilities. For example, rheological data can be determined using tests with different weights. In addition, the die swelling behavior (“swell”) can also be determined. This is the arithmetic ratio between the cooled extrudate and the die diameter.
