As a specialist for plastics technology, toolmaking is a central topic for us. Toolmaking is the production of injection moulding tools with which plastic articles are subsequently produced in an injection moulding process.
The quality of the tools has a considerable influence on the production quality of the plastic parts. For this reason, we have our own powerful in-house toolmaking department. In addition, we implement some projects with carefully selected partners.
Toolmaking in Asia
For more than 10 years, we have also had tools manufactured in several partner companies in Asia, always subject to agreement by our customers. In addition to the lower costs, the fast delivery times and reliable adherence to schedules are important factors. Despite the longer transport routes, these tools often reach the customer faster than if they were manufactured in Germany.
After some instructive experiences in the beginning, we can now rely on our selected partners, both for the production of injection moulds and for prototype and pre-series parts. We work without intermediaries with long-standing partners who have a high level of technical know-how and who know our requirements well.
The familiar high quality of H+K is always guaranteed. We have the design authority, keep project coordination and customer support in our hands and are responsible for compliance with all specifications. Our Asian partners are certified and meet European standards, also with regard to environmental protection.
On arrival in Germany, the injection moulds are resampled by H+K and the process capability is assured. We are responsible! This means you can always rely on receiving the best service at the best price.
