We are delighted to welcome six young men who are starting their careers with us this year. In total, we currently supervise 15 apprentices who are introduced into our company and the respective departments by our friendly and competent trainers.
As in the year before, we are again nominated for the "Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Companies" in 2020 and have successfully reached the "jury stage"!
We are honoured to have been nominated again for the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" (Grand Prix of medium-sized companies) in 2019. Together with 757 other companies from the 5,399 nominated in the first round, we have reached the jury list, the second stage of the competition, once again. The certificate was recently presented to us by a representative of the BVMW (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft e. V., German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses).
We offer all employees the possibility of bicycle leasing through the company.
On 7 November, Mayor Dr Remco van der Velden visited us to hand over a special price awarded by Innogy as part of their climate protection competition.
We made it: Our photovoltaic system broke the million-kWh-mark! Since 2010, our photovoltaic system has been producing electricity for our company and today has reached one million kWh produced. This saved an astonishing 600 tons of CO2!
Join forces for a clean environment: The GKV/TecPart initiative is dedicated to the current topic of marine litter: waste in the oceans. Convinced of this goal, we would also like to make our contribution and are now participating in the campaign "Zero Pellet Loss".
We did it again: Hunold + Knoop requalified and may continue to bear the seal "family-friendly employer"!
This year, many young talents successfully completed their vocational training at Hunold + Knoop again. One of them was able to distinguish himself by his outstanding achievements: Johannes Florian was honoured by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) one of the best trainees in his profession as a process mechanic specializing in plastics and rubber technology.
