We are honoured to have been nominated again for the “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” (Grand Prix of medium-sized companies) in 2019. Together with 757 other companies from the 5,399 nominated in the first round, we have reached the jury list, the second stage of the competition, once again. The corresponding certificate was recently presented to us by a representative of the BVMW (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft e. V., German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses).

The motto of this year’s competition is “sustainable management”. As a company qualified for the jury list, we were also invited to the regional award gala in Düsseldorf in September. We are very pleased about the renewed nomination and would like to thank everyone who has supported us and made it possible for us to participate in the award ceremony.

• In order to be admitted to the competition, the nominated companies are required to perform outstandingly in five categories:
• Overall development of the company
• Creation and protection of jobs and apprentice positions
• Modernisation and innovation
• Commitment to the region
• Service and customer focus, marketing

Companies cannot apply for this prize themselves, but must be nominated by third parties. We are therefore particularly pleased that our efforts and commitment to the company, our employees and the environment have not gone unnoticed and we will continue to adhere to our values and goals in the future.
