Quality Management

Well looked after

The systematic and methodical deployment of various quality management (QM) techniques means later errors are prevented right from the start.

CAQ System

Our quality management puts the employee at the centre of operations.
Each individual employee acts on his/her own responsibility to monitor the processes and in-process inspections of standard parts within the framework of operator self-checking (OSC).

Certification

2022 a certification audit took place on our premises. The certification was carried out by SKZ Cert GmbH (Würzburg).

Without departing from the existing standard we achieved recertification according to the current standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

In addition, our environmental management was successfully certified without deviation to the new standard DIN EN ISO 14001:2015

We would once again like to give our warmest thanks to all employees.

GKV Code of Conduct

Code of conduct for the plastics processing industry

The General Association of German Plastics Processing Industry (GKV) represents about 1,200 companies (as of 2010) through its support associations AVK, IK, pro‐K and TecPart. The member companies expressly commit themselves to their social responsibility in the context of their entre-preneurial activities (corporate social responsibility).

The present GKV code of conduct is a voluntary agreement with which the member companies intend to guarantee in particular the observance of global requirements on ethical and moral dealing, as well as the stipulations of proper behaviour (compliance) in terms of competition and cartel law. This also means the promotion of fair and sustainable standards in dealings with suppliers and clients as well as their own company staff.

The acknowledging companies inform their staff at regular intervals about the ethical goals and behavioural principles of this code of conduct.
Furthermore, they aim for suppliers to also be guided by its content.
The GKV code of conduct is conceived as a voluntary agreement. Participating companies are certified by the GKV or its support associations.

MFI Testing

Incoming goods control of thermoplastic granulates

We have an MFI tester to ensure the quality of raw materials in our incoming goods control.

The melt flow index tester is a basis for characterising thermoplastics in the reception control. The results of the measurements are a fingerprint for the behaviour of the material during pro-cessing.

The ascertained value is also a measure of the molecular weight and thus an indication of the mechanical properties of the material. The average molecular weight and the result of the measurement are indirectly proportional.

The MFI tester has further possibilities. For example, rheological data can be ascertained by means of tests with different weights.

In addition, the injector swell behaviour (“swell”) can also be determined. This is the arithmetical relationship between the cooled extrudate and the injector diameter.
